Alcohol and Other Drug Information School (A.D.I.S.) is a program designed for individuals who are in need of basic education about alcohol and other drugs. The program meets the requirements of K.S.A 8-1567, which mandates first time DUI offenders to receive education about alcohol/drugs and the impact of drinking and driving.
What Happens in A.D.I.S.?
Participants learn about the physical, emotional and social effects of alcohol and other drug abuse. The program is broken into four segments:
- Why Am I Here
- Alcohol, Drugs, Driving and You
- Change vs. Consequences
- My Personal Change Plan
Participants are required to complete each segment of the school.
