Salina Weekend Intervention Program (SWIP) is presented to comply with Kansas DUI Law which requires attendance at an alcohol/drug information program, and for those whose offense calls for 48 hours of incarceration.

During SWIP there are no bars on the windows or doors, but nonetheless, this is jail. Participants in SWIP check in for 48 hours, beginning Friday evening at 6:00 pm and ending Sunday evening at 6:00 pm.
